We have a 1995 Hyundai R290LC-3 where the footpedals and the right hand joystick are weeping oil. How difficult is it to reseal the plungers?

not sure why that reference is talking about marking the hoses, no reason to remove the valves from the consoles to just reseal the upper plungers- can do that right in the cab. Just make sure the hyd tank is vented.

Explanation Sure you can make a lot of mess the fluid in the tank will syphon through the hose, if you have a vacuum pump you can use it to stop the fluid but often you will need to bleed the lines after. Pulling the bush in situ is the same as opening the hose I hope this explains WhyWhy we prefer not to work in a mess. Kind regards Uffex

I omitted to mention having the valve on the bench offers the ideal opportunity to clean the unit that way when reinstalled you can measure your success.
