Whats the rules for how much reflective tape you need on something? We refurbished our tag trailer, so now i need to know how much tape it needs on it. Its a 30 foot beaver tail, 25 +5. Previously it had a stripe the whole length and a 4ft strip on the back.
i think its 50% of the length of the trailer here are the rules http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/documents/consp.pdf
It is 50% on the length and full width on the rear. When in doubt use extra. Tape is cheap and gives the DOT Motor Carrier guys one less reason to pull you over.
