we are replacing the wheel bearings in all 4 wheels on a 1845c, one question, when tightening the inside castle nut on the axle, is there a torque for that? thanks
There probably is, but I have never been bothered - do them up FIRM but NOT TIGHT. You will be guided by where the split pin hole lines up the the castelated nut TIP - be sure to rotate the axle a few times, as you tighten in stages - to be sure the bearings are properly seated.
Snug and then back it off to the first hole you can get the cotterpin through.
