S650 Code E00279105 can this code be cleared or fixed? Burning wood in lots of smoke and dirt!!!!
It looks like that is a code for a failed EGR valve. I doubt you will be able to clear it without a laptop.
It wont clear regardless of laptop, if there is a problem. There should be wiring associated with EGR. If you have wiring diagram, I would pin out the wires going to EGR. Pin out as in back probe connector with DVOM meter. Most use a 5v reference circuit, signal circuit, ground circuit, and maybe one more. Not familiar with yours. Then can also plug up with soot. Diagram or scan tool is vital
