Hey I am working on a CAT dozer C-9 D6R (4ZF07314) Using CAT ET I am getting a active code 036 0342.11 that says "Secondary engine speed sensor: Other failure Mode". We had replaced the sensor after reciveing this error the first time and it has appeared again. (Right after replacement). Was wondering if anyone could help me to figure out what the problem exactly could be and any ways in which I can solve this problem. Thank you in advance
You posted the engine Serial Number. Do you have the tractor PIN Number handy.?
Found it. BPZ00142. See the attached troubleshooting procedure. If you want a complete electrical schematic for the machine please ask.
