I'm toying with upgrading my 20 year old 312 Cat for a Case 130. Thoughts.....
Never had a Case excavator, but the 314 Cats here have been good to us. I started with a 312, the got a 314CLCR, followed by a 314DLCR, and, then 2 314ELCR machines, all with blades. Bought both 314ELCR used...$125k ea with 1500 hrs @ 2 years old, 2014s bought in 2016. Blade, hydraulic coupler and 10 function auxiliary hydraulics. The loss of tail swing over hang has not proven to be an issue with capacity.
Friend has a CX130C with about 3500 hours. It's been a good machine for him. It has a thumb on it too. I have operated it some, nice smooth machine. It is the same as a Link Belt. FWD
