Looking for best way to update snow plow on dump truck. Have a flink system installed at present time with no blade. What would be best buy a blade or buy a new system. Have never used the one installed. Truck is older twin screw IH old state truck.
Lots of work to install a plow hitch properly. Probably best to try and find a plow that will work. May have to modify the actual hookup but alot easier than changing everything.

Many of the plows of that size interchange. I'd look for municipal auctions to pick one up cheap. There is also a quick hitch system that can be adapted to almost any truck that would help with mixing brands. Might be a good idea to stop at your local highway department and talk to the mechanic there for a source on these parts.
