Hi there, new to the forum. After much trouble releasing the starter motor from the engine bay I've tested it to find the Solenoid 'switch' has packed in. The engagement cog pushes out but the internal solenoid ignition switch appears to be intermittent ( depending on whether you give it a clout or not ). Searched the net high and low for PC15 parts but it seems to be a rare breed. Anyone know some good parts stockists?
You might be able to dress the contacts and restore it's function. Otherwise haul it down to an auto parts house and see if someone can match it up for you.If not try another or go to the wrecking yard (auto-jumble I think is the term you lads use). Skies. Jay.
