I was riding today in the coal region in northern pa today and found these little diggers . a manitowc a b&e walking dragline and a b&e drill
where is that at?
the wear on theise machines was amazing ! and thy were still using them
the smell of gear oil was over powering it was every where. the big drag even had a cd player
the turn table even had a huge chunck out of it
lots of rust
is that jetto?
and last one is me with a face full of coal dust:Banghead but my bud in the orange shirt got it worse so guess whos quad is faster
Should have put your ATV in the bucket for comparison.
:cool2 near tamaqua off rt 309 the big coal piles
was gonna but the chains were to heavy :drinkup will be going up here more often as its the only place to ride around here
I like the homemade A/C
B-E drill, but nope, the drag's a Marion 7400. I don't think it's Jeddo, Pagnotti has been repainting and working on a lot of their equipment lately.
This has the look of a ride at Kings Island...Maintanance looks to be an afterthought!
hey Hoeman have you ever seen the bottom of the pit that Hanson has on Boot Road there in Downingtown?....me and the boys at work have always wondered what they might have at the bottom of that pit, but just driving truck in there we never get to see it because it is on the other side of the road
ive wonderd the same. is this the one by rt 30 just west of 100
went on stripmine.org and found this it almost looks new
Those are awesome pictures hoeman...I used to haul out of Tamaqua almost every day years ago, are those machines at the Greenwood Breaker???
not sure what the sites name is. Ill try to find out. my camera died before I could get more picts of the B&E drill . Their was also 2 D9 G's and a D7G. Than we rode to another pit with a D9N , 10N ,16 grader, and 5 big trucks around 50 ton. euclid's and krapmatsu's 1250 hoe and 2 4600 manitwoc's draglines of course
yea thats the one...pretty good sized quarry
Hey Dirtdigger, I've seen one or two 992g's parked over on the east side of Boot Road a couple times by their shop I think. They also have some year old 777f's. You ever go by there when a loaded truck crosses Boot Rd.? That's pretty cool to see:drinkup Neat pictures Hoeman!:usa
Nice pictures! How do you like that suzuki 400? They Seem faster than my honda 400ex. That wouldn't happen to be a 400ex your buddy was ridding was it?
Hey hoeman that pic of the bucket, is that the shanks that they are digging with?
yea JimBruce i live fairly close to there...when i go to the stores out that way in the evening they always have their loaders and trucks parked by the shop...but i am sure they have some tracked equipment at the bottom of that pit that they don't bring across the road every night i have hauled a lot of stone out of there this summer, its a huge quarry, every time i go in there i have to get on the CB to find out where all the different piles are...guys in there are pretty nice about helping out...but they don't require trucks to weigh in before they get loaded which i think to be pretty wierd
nope thats an LTR 450.... but his buddy does look to be riding a 400ex
That is awsome!! What a cool find. I can't believe they still run that stuff. MSHA must not know about that pit. Great find!
sorry bro but its a ltr450
nope hes riding a 350 yamy warrior
those are some cool pics. ive seen a few old ones around where i live but not that big!. nice 4 wheelers to!
