I have a ford 3550 with a 753 backhoe when i swing the boom it wants to over travel and i end up with slack in the chain. Can someone tell me how to adjust the cylinders so i can keep the chain tight.
Well it could be one of two problems,,first could be the cyl needs rebuilt packings are leaking internally,or two it needs to be bled get the air out,there's a hose on the rear of the swings remove that and actuate the boom back and forth,them swings are puller cyls only but if that's the case and don't help it's still a problem i mentioned above in the "first".
