swing tower cam ?? off the roller

is the roller too high or the cam too low

    Could you post a pic of the top snap ring area of the pin? it appears that the pin is to low allowing the cam to contact the bracket rather than the roller. The roller arm does not appear to be out of shape.

    if so its a good half inch down ? no visible snap ring or shim ..i just found it in parts manual how do i get it back up . turn up that lock nut assy on bottom on cam ? how does the cam roller come off allen key on top ?? its not the one with nut on bottom or can i replace it with the under nut roller type ??

    That pretty much what I expected to see, I would get the proper hardware to replace the missing stuff plus I would get an extra washer or two to assure I had enough to shim the pin up into its proper position. The cam bolt in the back is simply to stop pin rotation and not to keep the pin up in position, trust me , when that bolt and spacer fall out the swing gets pretty interested with the sequencing valve defeated. If you move the boom to take the stress off that pin it will easily tap back up into position.

    picture 1 snap ring is there under the grease i tapped pin up some in the pics pic #2 someones been foolin with this / upper washers beetween pin n frame wont let pin go up any more and you see a lock washer in wrong spot ? not me pic #3 left ,, roller completely worn at the bottom edge also in parts book the arm that hold the roller has two washers on the top n bottom of the pivot where its bolted to the bottom edge machine frame , i got 2 on the bottom none on top my remedy get two more spacers under the snap ringto bring it up , put in two washesr on the top of the pivot point to bring that roller arm down and that bolt that holds the pin in may need a washer pulled out to help pin go up a bit get new roller too
