I just purchased 2008 tb125-( first machine)machine running good, stopped to have lunch went to start and would not start had to jump it, there is ticking noise coming from fuel/ battery compartment, won't hold charge yet new battery
Hi and welcome to HEF. My guess is your alternator is not charging. I would check fan belts and for loose wires. Or you may have a open or high resistance in the charge circuit. You will need to purchase a digital multi meter if you don’t have one. You can purchase a Chinese one cheap. Measure battery voltage at the battery, at the alternator and then between both. Check the fuses as well
