Hi. New member here. The bucket tilt on my 2018 R070T has locked up, boom control was functioning but would actually lift the boom somewhat when dropping it down and had to bump the controller forward 6/8 times to get it to ratchet down. Right controller sits properly in middle float position. Left control functioning properly. Engine also bogged as if under load, fortunately got it to the trailer and boom down but curl stuck up no down function. Bucket returned down after sitting up overnight but immediately curled back up with a rough almost under load restart. Any thoughts? Joystick? Loader valve? Bad luck? TIA Tom
Hi Tom Welcome to the Forum. It sounds like the control / loader valve spools may be jamming. This could be an indication of some form of contamination in the oil that is now affecting your controls. I would suggest looking into the loader valve and manually checking by hand that the control spools are all free to move in the valve. Remember to be be cautious of any residual pressure that may be stored in the lines between the control valve and the cylinders. Kind regards
Thanks very much for the insight, I've already got a new loader valve on the way. Since the pilot control safety mechanisms are bypassed there is really no other location for this type of failure.
