I have a relic of a skid steer that puked one of the tilt cylinders. The shaft is pretty gnarly looking and the rod ends are egged out pretty badly so I'm assuming a new one is in order. The big problem is a factory replacement Koehring Scat Trac part isn't something that's sitting on everyones shelf. So is it ok to just use an eqivalant tie rod cylinder or is this a NO-NO! Thanks for the advise!!
Any good hyd cylinder shop should be able to build you a new chrome rod and rod eye end. Just take them the old rod and eye as well as the pin so they can measure pin size.
