Hi Boys and Girls. Just bought myself a Timberjack 209D. Been dreaming about one for a long time. It runs and drives but looks like i will be doing the Transmission and Hercules winchx2 this winter. It has the Perkins 4.236 and the NP441R Transmission with the reverserbox. The Perkins we have a lot of over here, the problem is finding parts for the New Process 441R transmission. Have searched the web but not many parts for the 441 when i doing the search. Dont know if the internals are interchangable with other NP boxes. Anyone here that knows where i could score parts for this TJ?? Thanks from Norway.
Only place I can think of is in Thunder Bay Ontario, which was the hub of logging in North Western Ontario Canada. There were a lot of them transmissions there at one time. Could be a few still around. There is a Timberjack Dealer there, or there use to be when I lived there. Simon C
