Looking to purchase one locally. Owner states it "jumped" timing and quit. Are these a timing belt engine by chance? Are they an interference engine? Have not had a chance to actually look at it in person.
Hi Garp, I have a 2sdk7 that I bought about a year ago, We have had to rebuild the 2J diesel engine and I can tell you they are all gear drive under the front cover, No chains or belts internally. Hope this helps
