8500.00 for a salvage transmission? Might as well total the machine. Sorry, I can get the rebuild parts from Broken Tractor, with a torque converter for 2100. Not seeing the upside here?

Appreciate the insight! We agree that if you have the experience and time to rebuild your own transmission, that is most certainly a good option! If you don't though and need to get back out, our used transmissions come from low hour running units, for a quick replacement to eliminate downtime. In many cases operators missing job opportunities can lead to significant revenue loss, and not all backhoe owners can nail a rebuild. Harley, we appreciate your expertise, and broken tractor is absolutely a great option for repair parts. If you find cheaper more reliable options through them, then that's the way to go. As well we are willing to amend pricing to support your most economical options when it makes sense. Thanks for the perspective for backhoe owners out there!

You wouldn’t happen to have older Case backhoes, like an E series, would you?

No sir, we've only had 580 and 590 N's, SN's, and an SM. Are you looking for a complete unit or parts?
