Found a good deal on a little forklift for my shop, engine runs great the unit does not move forward or reverse. It is a older machine and doesn't look to have any electrical solenoids to make it shift. Called some forklift dealers here and no help. Can you help with some troubleshooting with this problem. Unfortunately online information for Cat lift trucks is something akin to unobtainium. Unless someone with practical experience can chime in the best suggestion is to get hold of a Service Manual. Here's a link to one on eBay . The same comment could be made about a Parts Manual for the exact same reasons.
