I was recently told that you can find service history on a machine by using either CAT ET or SIS? Bought an excavator (352F) a few months ago and would like to see what's been done to it over the years. Just curious if I can do this possibly myself or have to beg the dealer for any info.. Thanks!
If you ever find out please come back and let everyone know. AFAIK the only way to get previous service history on a machine is either from the former owner or from the dealer but that’s only true if the machine was dealer-serviced by the same dealer throughout its life. The only thing the dealer will be guaranteed to have is records of factory update programs that were carried out plus any warranty work done on it. Whether they would be prepared to share that information is debatable.
