Have lurked on here for a while but 1st post. Recently got an A25C for use on the farm. Pretty decently maintained from what I could tell but have one issue I haven’t been able to figure out. At startup after you build the air up all the lights go out. You can then engage the transmission and off you go, the problem occurs whenever you touch the retarder pedal. When you engage the retarder pedal, immediately the hydraulic pressure warning lamp comes on(number 3 light on the A bank of warning lights hydraulic brake pressure). In addition the trans will go into neutral and will not engage until you cycle the key to the off position and back. Then works fine as long as you don’t attempt to use the retarder. If someone could educate me a bit on troubleshooting the retarder circuit and this issue (seems like it may be electrical in nature) it would be greatly appreciated.
