1999 Volvo A30C 23000 hours A30CV60167 im pretty new to haul trucks and am little out of my depths on this truck runs great plenty of power but randomly in either L4/L5 it falls flat on its face sometimes to a complete stall it’s more repeatable going up hill but doesn’t happen every time
It should shift down to the lower gear prior to stalling out
the contronic says its down shifting but the engine dies before i can feel a down shift
So just to confirm, is it the engine loosing power or the transmission pulling the engine down?
