What would a Case 188D engine with 4,000 hours and a Case 207D engine with 3,700 hrs be worth in the northeast USA? Both run good with no odd noises. They are complete from radiator fan to flywheel and starter.
I don't know. But I can suggest that you call or email several salvage yards and locate the identical units. Have them price it without shipping. That way you get the true cost of the engine.
