I have acquired a Cat 58PS winch and I don't know beans about winches. Does the 58 mean it'll work on D8 sized tractors? I know they'll work on a D8L, will they work on a D8N or a D9N? Maybe a D8H. Does the slow speed make it more desirable than a regular one? What kind of value does it have, it's an 8XB serial number? What are all these voices in my head, come to think of it?
An 8XB s/n Model 58 Cat winch was produced for D8L's (53Y s/n's) and D9N's (1JD s/n's).
Thanks. I was hopin it'd work on a D9G, and I'm not around either one right now.
