A women my friend knows had her husband pass away about a year ago. He was into excavating and has some equipment that she wants to sell soon. One of the pieces being a John Deere 650G dozer. I haven't looked at it in person, i don't know anything about it. All i know (from the picture she showed me really quick on her phone) is that it's an open cab machine and didn't look all smashed up and according to her it runs good and her husband always took really good care of his equipment. Of course i'm going to go look at it more before offering anything i'm just trying to get a rough idea of what this thing is worth. Assuming everything checks out and it's a nice machine with a good machine, blade, not leaking everything, etc etc i'm thinking somewhere around $15000-16,000? Does that sound about right? Thank you.
Hours on unit, Hours on machine, Hours on transmission, condition of undercarriage, results of some oil samples, that is what will dictate the price. Any maintenance records from owner or dealerships. Simon C
