Yesterday I bought a Volvo MC115C with 7 hours on it. I have noticed that there are an amazing number of almost brand new Volvo skid steers for sale now. Many more Volvos than other brands. Does any one know why so many that are so new are for sale right now?
Could it be an oversupply after the downturn? Maybe they had a long term contract to build machines in anticipation higher demand, and maybe they were already built and have a new model coming out or something.
Maybe they contracted JCB to build them X amount, but couldn't sell them all.
The odd thing is that these machines are actually used with less than 20 to a few hundred hours on them. In my experience, it is rare to see so many machines in this condition for sale all at the same time. Just curious....
