Hey guys, was looking at an 03 jcb 214 with 4300hrs but in the add is says worn slides. What does that mean, i'm assuming the slides the ext hoe moves on. What are they like to change if that's what they are?
They are shimmed. At 4300 you will likely still have some adjustment left to tighten her up. If not, they are pretty simple to change, and not terribly pricey. And if you left it like it is, it would be fine too. Not a big deal.
