Year of Case 508E Backhoe?

I bought a Case 580E Backhoe, the guy said it was 80's but wasn't sure the exact year. Does anyone know is there a way I can look at something on the Backhoe to find out the year it was made? Thank you

    Do you know where I should look for the serial number on the Backhoe (Location)?

    Should be a plate on the left side as you are climbing up the step.
