Moving a 12,000 lb Lathe on Rollers

So your having problems figuring out how to turn around in the building? You just angle the rollers so the machine turns, or put in on greased steel plates. I've seen some people use greased UHMW (I think that's the plastic they used). As far as the floor being damaged by the machine, that's another reason to lay a good plate run way. Spreads the weight out and gives you a surface with lower friction. This video show
